2024-25 Panini Donruss Optic Basketball Blasters & Mega Boxes are now available for pre-order. Some of you pre-ordered these back in October, but we pulled the listing due to Panini stopping taking orders because of a release pushback because of the lengthy delays of the football line.
We are happy to announce that we are once again taking orders and we have an estimated release date of June 24, 2025. Knowing Panini this season, we predict that these will most likely be released closer to June 1st, however, we will use the date that they are providing to us.
Here is some early information Panini is providing about this year's Optic line -
- Each Mega Box contains: 8 cards per pack, 7 packs per box for a total of 56 trading cards
- Each Mega Box delivers 28 Prizms or Inserts per box, on average
- Look for the Mega Box-Exclusive Base, Base Rated Rookies, and Base Legends parallels Hyper Pink and Hyper Orange (#’d/299), as well as all-new parallels Hyper Green (#’d/249) and Hyper Blue (#’d/149)
- Search for autographs of the top NBA superstars, legends, and 2024 rookies in the Mega Box-Exclusive Signature Series Green
- Find a full roster of inserts including Express Lane, Splash!, Optical Illusions, My House, White Hot Rookies, and Winner Stays
- Chase after insert parallels such as White Velocity (#’d/59) and the NPP Mega Box-Exclusives Hyper Green (#’d/249) and Hyper Blue (#’d/175)
- Search for SSP’s such as Phazes, Mythical, and Downtown! Look for Phazes and Mythical in parallels such as Gold (#’d/10) and the One-of-One Gold Vinyl
- The highly popular Donruss Optic returns and delivers a new 300-card base set, consisting of 225 Base, 50 Base Rated Rookies, and 25 Base Legends! Each SKU offers exclusive content for collectors to chase and collect!
