The age of the shopping bot has taken over the Pokemon community, often seeing tens of thousands of boxes being sold within seconds. Once again, we sold our entire stock of 750 ETBs in under 16 seconds, even with a maximum of 2 boxes per order. We will do our best to provide more inventory, however, we are expecting these to be the most expensive ETBs yet with most being sold at $250 OVER MSRP.
The average price just days after release is already $350 for an ETB, but that's just the retail version. The average price for an ETB from the Pokemon Center is already at a whopping $1200 per box!
We will do our best to provide our customers with a price that is more consistent with MSRP. However, if we are not able to do this, we may not restock. Pokemon is rampant with eBay scalpers and it is hard to maintain stock. We will keep you posted as we delve further into this.
